I respect those who respect and speak up for the environment. What really irritates me, though, are the self-righteous hypocrites who scream about all the horrible things being done to the environment while they are using their "pollution" causing technology, wearing clothing that in some fashion "harmed" nature to create, eating food that in some way destroyed or is destroying something in the eco-system to make its way to their plate, fill out complaint forms and picket signs using materials hazardous to the environment, etc...
Humans are part of the eco-system and we HAVE to survive. There is no way any living thing can live without some form of impact on its environment. What is considered negative to some, however, isn't always avoidable and is often-times compensated for by Nature herself.
We are not as powerful as Nature. We have no right to be greedy and take more than we need, but we do have the right to live.
