To clarify and answer messages current and future: Yes, this is about the batshit insane call to boycott the Susan G Komen foundation for its support of Planned Parenthood.
I have very serious issues with PP in regards to its support of underage girls getting abortions without their parents' knowledge or consent. I fully support anyone who feels they can't trust the SGK foundation's use of donation money if it goes to PP.
However, people are getting really stupid about all this, like calling for boycotts of the SGK foundation while stating it's pointless because we've already cured cancer! Yes, I'm serious. I've seen people say it should be boycotted because PP is all about birth control .. No, not just abortion but specifically birth control. Yes, I'm serious. And I've seen comments by people saying they will call for a nationwide boycott because "breast cancer is a non issue anyway. Just cut off the breasts!" No, I'm not joking!
And these people expect to be taken seriously. So I say again, unless you've found the cure for cancer, shut the fuck up!
