Question: Why is it the Humane Society airs daily ads with pictures and videos of abused animals to shame us for our apathy but no one runs the same kind of ad showing abused children? Ignoring it doesn't make it go away. It just makes us cold-hearted assholes bringing the future of our world to its knees. I can't say I'm shocked, though. After all, their president did say once that he would save a drowning puppy before he saved a child with down syndrome.
But wait! He kind of hates animals, too. Namely, your household companion:
HSUS CEO, Wayne Pacelle: "We have no problems with the extinction of domestic animals. They are creations of human selective breeding." Pacelle admits saying this but swears he was referring to "rare livestock breeds." However, he has continued to say things like: "In fact, I don't want to see another dog or cat born."
Keep in mind that the HSUS does NOT help animals. They are a for-profit organization and a branch of PeTA, and they supported Michael Vick's attempt to own more dogs after his incarceration. Here is more about this hateful child-hating, animal-killing organization:
